Join a vibrant team at the Emergency Department, where we deliver 24-hour emergency services to over 45,000 patients annually. Our dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary team operates in a cutting-edge environment with 23 treatment bays, state-of-the-art equipment and medical imaging services. Plus, we provide a ‘fast track’ service to eligible patients.

- Continuous Shift Worker Role: Be part of a team ensuring the effective provision of high-quality evidence-based care.
- Collaborative Leadership: Provide clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary team, offering leadership, education and supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Area Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operational needs, including flow coordination and management
- Set and maintain clinical standards, providing leadership in quality and educational governance
- Drive change management initiatives to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Selection Criteria
Essential requirements:
- Eligibility for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Extensive clinical experience within the Emergency Department specialty including resus and triage.
- Demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and professionalism skills.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical teaching and assist with educational programs in the critical care area.
- Extensive knowledge and governance of safety and quality improvement processes, including auditing.
Desirable
- Possession of, or progression towards a post graduate qualification relevant to the area of responsibility.
- Proficient computer and health information reporting system skills, inclusive of incident reporting systems.
Remuneration: On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from; $101,393.65- $107,728.19+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
