Clinical Psychologist

We are now taking applications for Psychologists to join our psychology clinic at the Danny Frawley Centre in Moorabbin!

· Opportunities to engage in individual therapy, facilitate group therapy, run workshops, and supervise provisional psychologists on placement.
· Referrals for a range of presenting problems for children, adolescents and adults – you decide what your interests are!
Our Psychologists will see clients for assessment and therapy, and can facilitate group therapy programs if interested. Our clinics host groups of students from ISN Psychology postgraduate courses, and the role includes supervision and support of these provisional psychologists. You may engage in individual and group supervision sessions.
The role is designed to include plenty of flexibility to decide how our psychologist wish to fill their day.
We have full administration support, and our receptionists will always be present to welcome your clients and direct them to the large waiting room.
We have developed a healthy referral base and would suit growth-oriented and team-minded psychologists interested in professional development, supervision, case conferences, social activities, and peer support.
Role Description:
This position will be a casual position, with a generous casual hourly rate, plus superannuation and including on-site parking;
Ample flexibility in terms of how many days, which days of the week, and preferred hours of practice (Clinic is open Monday to Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturdays an option);
You will receive training on using practice management software and be provided with resources, and if needed be trained on how to practice in a private setting within the Medicare Better Access Mental Health Care Plans;
As a member of our team, you will learn from others, give and receive support from your colleagues, develop skills in consultation and liaison, participate in case conferences, and work closely with all staff to achieve high quality outcomes for your clients and supervisees.
Qualifications Required:
An approved degree with a major in psychology and post graduate qualifications (Masters or Doctorate) in Clinical Psychology
Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
Preferred: Registration as a Board-Approved Supervisor
