- Clinical Duties: Responsible for intake, consultation, diagnosis, assessment, and providing appropriate treatment, maintaining high standards of clinical record-keeping.
- Diverse Caseload: Manage an average caseload of around 25 - 30 patients per week, varying with discipline and appointment types.
- Required Registrations: Must hold relevant qualifications in Psychology or Psychiatry and be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and relevant National Boards.
- Medicare Eligibility: Must be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and provision of suitable treatments and interventions.
- Diverse Client Base: Capable of working with a wide range of clients and presenting issues.
- Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ethical Standards: Adherence to professional and ethical standards in psychological and/or psychiatric services.
- Desirable Expertise: Knowledge of psychodynamic theories, interventions, psychological testing, and diagnostic assessments is advantageous.
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology
- AHPRA registration
- Full/Associate member of the APS
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- WorkCover approved (or willing to become WorkCover approved)
- Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
