As the initial point of contact for our clients, you'll hold a pivotal role in ensuring their interaction with our practice is positive and inviting. Alongside managing reception duties, you'll provide essential administrative support to our team comprising six practitioners and two therapy dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greeting clients both in person and via phone
- Handling appointment scheduling and overseeing practitioners' schedules
- Managing client intake procedures and billing tasks
- Keeping client records organised and current using Powerdiary
- Assisting with insurance and Medicare verification and claims processing
- Maintaining office supplies and inventory levels
- Managing incoming and outgoing email and correspondence
- Supporting special projects and tasks as required
Qualifications/Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail and strong organisational aptitude
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment while also being capable of working autonomously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other office software
- Experience within healthcare or mental health settings preferred
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy
