About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator within the Wondakka Community Rehabilitation Centre.
The Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day coordination of clinical business and processes supporting delivery of Clinical Rehabilitation service within the Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC), Wondakka with an emphasis on consumer outcomes, team performance and team culture.
As a part of the leadership team, the Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator is an experienced mental health rehabilitation clinician who will support service delivery, ensure clinical practice in Wondakka is high quality, contemporary, evidence based and recovery focused.
Employees in this role accept accountability for the outcomes of Clinical Rehabilitation practice, for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy and for developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of consumer outcomes.
The incumbent will:
- promote collaborative approaches with hospital and community-based services to ensure timely delivery of rehabilitation services and effective pathways of care.
- ensure Clinical Rehabilitation services in Wondakka interface effectively with community mental health services by working closely with Team Managers, Clinical Coordinators and Care Coordinators across the LHN as well as the Community Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator.
- participate and contribute to the strategic and operational management of the sector as directed by the Team Manager.
- promote consumer centred services through proactive partnerships with consumers and the Lived Experience Workforce
- as a specific portfolio responsibility, provide leadership for development and maintenance of effective partnership arrangements with other agencies and services, including government and NGOs, building capacity in the sector and assisting CMHT consumers develop strengths and skills for living a full and meaningful life.
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy of Australia, or
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or
- Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA with an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology.
