Monash Cardiovascular Research Centre (MCRC)
MCRC is a self-funding, independent research group based located within the Victorian Heart Hospital. We are formally recognised as the cardiovascular research arm of Monash Heart, Monash Health and Monash University. With an international reputation for excellence and achievement in basic and translational research, MCRM supports the uptake of state-of-the-art cardiovascular treatments into clinical service. We offer daily clinical educational sessions, along with research meetings with all key Monash Heart clinical service groups.
Clinical Research Coordinator – Victorian Heart Hospital
Now hiring a talented Clinical Research Coordinator, familiar with the care of cardiovascular patients, to coordinate clinical trials conducted by the MCRC in our new purpose-built Clinical Trials in the Victorian Heart Hospital. A dynamic and expanding research unit participating in an increasing number of major international, multicentre clinical trials, including first in human studies and investigator driven research and are at the forefront of cardiovascular research.

About You
An accomplished Clinical Researcher you take pride in working collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team and are driven to discover new ways to treat outpatients and help our community. You are a highly adaptable and self-motivated Research Coordinator committed to elevating the standard of cardiac medical and research excellence. You will be welcomed into a highly skilled, passionate and supportive team. To ensure your success in this role, you will have following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:
- Relevant tertiary qualification as a Nurse or Medical Scientist
- Proven experience in research environment
- Qualification/experience in cardiovascular/critical care
- Experience with clinical rhythm management and pharmaceutical studies highly preferred and not essential
- Sound clinical skills and attention to detail to ensure exemplary quality research
- Detailed understanding of all aspects of clinical Trials including Good Clinical Practice
- Outstanding communication skills and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
