Salary:
UOM 5 – $79,961 - $91,844 p.a. (Pro rata for part-time) plus 17% super

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting medical student education at the St Vincent’s Clinical School. As a Clinical School Officer, you'll join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering excellence in teaching and learning for the Doctor of Medicine program. Working collaboratively with clinical supervisors and academic staff, you'll contribute to a harmonious working environment while providing vital administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering allocations and placements for MD program students across multiple clinical sites.
  • Providing high-level customer service to students and stakeholders, both remotely and in person.
  • Coordinating student assessments and ensuring accurate documentation and database management.

You are driven by providing exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding expectations. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes showcases your initiative. With a strong sense of discretion and impeccable time management, you ensure confidentiality while maintaining efficiency in your work.

You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in hospital or student administration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating commitment to excellent customer service.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suit.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
