Overview
We are looking for a Clinical Senior Social Worker - Safer Children and families, who as an experienced and highly competent clinician to deliver quality services and/or provide clinical/professional leadership to allied health professionals working in Eyre and Far North Local Health Network.
The Clinical Senior is responsible for contributing to the implementation of the Child Protection reform across the EFNLHN with regards to developing systems and structures under SA Health's responsibility through the Safe and Well Government of South Australia's strategy. The Clinical Senior will work with the Regional Support Services Advanced Clinical Lead Child Protection to ensure targeted and culturally appropriate early intervention for Children and their families to improve their safety, health and development outcomes where vulnerability factors exist.
the Clinical Senior works towards improvements in the quality safety and community needs-driven distribution of services across EFNLHN and works with allied health staff, manager and other stakeholders on model of care and workforce development initiatives.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work Profession and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Work. For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuing professional development program.
