Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products. Works with Sales Representatives to meet existing potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals and meet patients/clients needs. Promotes company products to current and potential customers within a defined region by providing clinical education of implant procedures and support a variety of issues. Serves as primary resource for clinical support including but not limited to: troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow up for company products.
- Performs checks/interrogations of all medical device systems post sign-off
- Ensures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation
- Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained
- Assists with managing daily coverage logistics as needed
- Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products
- Identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales team
- Partners with Sales team to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs
- Provides troubleshooting support as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to build/maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels
- Be qualified for and maintain privileges at all required hospitals
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Able to travel up to 95%
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20kgs
