Clinical Support Nurse - Grade 3
Dynamic and flexible role, working across different clinical areas
Nurse Resource Transition Pool (NRTP) education team
Full Time/Part Time, Ongoing (Mon-Fri) from 20th March 2023
Potential for earlier start date on discussion with manager
Our Clinical Education team are professional role models, providing support for formal nursing programs (Entry to Practice, Graduate, Speciality Education and Post Graduate) and continuing education opportunities and initiatives for all nursing staff.
A role where two days are never the same, this role primarily will work alongside nursing staff to support the delivery of clinical care and translation of theory to practice, particularly nurses who are participating in the Registered nurse Introduction to Specialty Education (RISE) program NRTP stream and Graduate Nurse Program.
Your new role:
Supporting nurses to provide high quality standards of patient care by working alongside nursing staff to develop their skills, knowledge, abilities and attributes.
Supporting nursing staff in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
Provide nurses with appropriate supervision, training and instruction in accordance with RMH policy and procedures
Accept accountability for own actions and seek guidance if situations exceed the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse
About you:
Demonstrates excellence in clinical nursing practice and the provision of high quality patient care
Post-Graduate nursing qualification in specialty nursing area
Recent experience in working with Entry to Practice/Graduate/Post-Graduate nurses
Preceptorship/Mentoring experience
