The Kolling Institute is part of the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Medicine and Health, located in the Northern Sydney (Arabanoo) Precinct.
The University of Sydney is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Coordinator to work on a range of clinical research projects within the osteoarthritis clinical research group at the Kolling Institute.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- support the development of trials and facilitate Clinical Trial activities, including preparing trial procedures, setting up and organising the Clinical Trial site, reporting on trial milestones, monitoring, archiving documents and correspondence
- in collaboration with other team trial members, develop and implement strategies to recruit trial participants and conduct participant study visits and assessments in accordance with the protocol and delegated responsibilities
- maintain appropriate source documentation and manage trial data whilst assisting the Project Manager to setup and conduct data integrity checks.
About you
- bachelor degree in relevant field, public health – honours in degree desirable with previous experience in a health setting
- have an understanding of Clinical Trials protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, ethics and governance and other relevant Clinical Trial regulatory procedures
- ability to work with patients in a sensitive manner and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of data
- ability to exercise a degree of initiative and judgement in planning work activity, and resolving problems associated with day-to-day operating procedures directly linked to their key accountabilities
- experience in data entry and data management using REDCap
