The Clinical Trial Coordinator position provides high level Clinical Trial support as directed by the heads and senior Staff members of the Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research. The position will work within the Spinal Injury Project team which is delivering a Clinical Trial of a cell transplantation and rehabilitation therapy for treating spinal cord injuries.

This position will assist with coordination and management of activities of the Clinical Trial, assist with submission of applications, variations and reports to ethics and regulatory authorities, and manage communication between all parties of the Clinical Trial. This role will also manage the payments of vendors and third parties as well as provide administrative assistance to senior staff members and supports the research group activities and laboratory training.

What we can offer
This is a fixed term (12-month), part-time (0.4FTE) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary for a Senior Research Assistant (Grade 2) will be in the range of $108,301 - $112,261 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $126,712 - $131,345 per annum.

The successful applicant will have a Masters degree or an equivalent combination of qualifications and/or relevant experience.

We are looking for a team member who has Clinical Trial management experience, proven knowledge of HREC processes and regulatory documents associated with Clinical Trials, high level communication skills and strong capabilities of working in a large team. You will also have strong time-management skills, finance skills, and excellent attention to detail.
