An established and thriving oncology based research group are seeking a Clinical Trials Project Manager to join the team in Sydney on a full-time basis. You will join an established team of research professionals. This group partners closely with trial centres in the delivery of trials as the study sponsor and also runs a number of investigator initiated trials. This group are extremely passionate about their area of research focus, driven to find a cure for hard to treat cancer and will provide opportunities for long term development/growth.
Your new role
As a Clinical Trials Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the comprehensive project management of multiple projects at different stages in the clinical development pathway. This includes ensuring the successful achievement of project deliverables for all assigned projects and providing collegiate operational support to the research unit.
You will be involved in trial oversight, delivery of projects to time and budget, coordinate study start up, quality oversight, liaising with study AROs, vendor management (suppliers and drug management), liaising with sites as required, running patient visit reports, invoicing, safety reporting and management etc.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualification in a health or Life Sciences discipline.
- Previous experience in the management of concurrently running Clinical Trials, working with multidisciplinary medical, health and research teams; more than one at a time.
- Previous experience in a similar position either within the non-for-profit sector and/or CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough understanding of the clinical development pathway, the conduct of Clinical Trials, study start up and ethics requirements and ICH GCP.
- Ideally you will have experience in Oncology based research.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, project management and strategic thinking.
