Cloud Administrator

Our large government client requires a Cloud Administrator who will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AWS cloud technologies and be able to contribute to discussions, planning, and implementation of new systems.The Cloud Administrator's responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to AWS cloud infrastructure, promptly resolving any identified issues.
• Monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues.
• Contribute to discussions requiring expert advice on cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, planning, and implementation of new cloud-based systems.

Location of work: The role is Canberra based. However, there is flexibility for the successful candidate to work interstate under certain circumstances.
Length of contract: 12 months
Contract Extensions: The maximum period of extension is 24 months (2 x twelve (12) months) to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Commonwealth
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, we require a minimum NV1 Security Clearance.How to Apply: Please upload your resume to apply.
