Do you have a Cloud Engineering background in Windows, Active Directory, DNS, and exposure to AWS including automation tooling such as cloud formation and terraform? The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our diverse portfolio of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud environments in AWS and VMware Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- BAU Administration of Active Directory and VMware Horizon.
- Administer remote office infrastructure to support business operations.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to maintain system health.
- Participate in afterhours and weekend work as needed to support business needs.
Key Technical Competencies:
- Windows Server Administration Stack
- VMWare vSphere and Horizon Administration
- Active Directory/DNS Administration
- Fundamental understanding of enterprise networking
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of any scripting language (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc,)
Key Competencies:
- 4+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a systems administration role.
- Enthusiastic attitude and passion for technology.
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to perform afterhours and weekend work as needed.
