This government organisation is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer specialising in Cloud Networking. To be successful, you will have strong Azure Networking skills and on premises and Azure experience. The role is a 12-month contract with strong potential to be extended. This role is a critical part of the level 3 infrastructure team working across Infrastructure, Cloud, and Network Engineering. They are in Sydney CBD and offer 50% WFH.
Your new role
As a Cloud Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and administrating Azure Networking and on-premises experience, so strong experience in both areas is essential. You will come from a strong infrastructure, cloud and azure networking background and be able to provide excellent expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the Agency. You will be able to support the configuration, implementation, and administration of infrastructure components, such as storage, security, and networking.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years working as a Senior Cloud Engineer
- Strong Azure networking experience
- Strong deploy and configure experience with on-premises and within the Azure cloud
- Strong networking experience and knowledge
- Strong patching and maintenance experience
- Strong firewall administration, configuration, and maintenance experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen to apply and be successful
