AddressAn amazing opportunity has become available with a leading provider of health services in Australia, looking for a Cloud Platform Lead to join their team.
This is a key leadership role and will be responsible for driving the development and management of the private and public Cloud Platforms to ensure these platforms meet the evolving needs of the business, whilst also providing exceptional leadership and management to the dedicated and highly skilled infrastructure and cloud teams, responsible for a good mix of BAU and projects within the space.
The role will also monitor the productivity of servers and create schedules for update, upgrade and patch management, manage data centres (a crucial aspect of the role), and ensure the technology infrastructure services are fit for purpose, responsive, maintained, available, reliable and secure.
Must haves for the role:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role and industry with at least 5 years experience successfully leading infrastructure teams.
- Proven experience across Infrastructure Strategy, Design, Project Management and Operations, Modern Workplace and Infrastructure Architecture.
- A high level of experience with Virtualised environments.
- Proven experience with Windows Server and Networking technologies, Network Security Systems and remote access technologies.
- Strong technical expertise in VMWare private cloud and Azure public technologies.
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite, Microsoft Azure and AWS Infrastructure.
- Proven experience in Cloud Services, On-premise technology infrastructure, Windows Server, Virtualisation, AD, Data Centres, Backups and Disaster Recovery.
The role will suit someone with extensive experience in managing large, complex and critical IT environments and someone able to provide exceptional management and leadership to a team, uplift, and create a positive and supportive team culture.
The role is city fringe based, and has a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days work in the office.
