Muswellbrook and District Workers Club is a multifaceted hospitality venue serving the local community with over 10,000 members. We are situated in the Upper Hunter region with an easy 2.5hr drive from Sydney. The club offers busy restaurant, functions, gaming, TAB, bars, accommodation, weekly entertainment and courtesy bus.
The position of FOH Duty Manager covers all aspects of the day to day operation with a strong focus on quality of execution and direction of the existing supervisors and FOH team. We are looking for a passionate, customer led hospitality professional to join our team of 50 committed staff. An emphasis on communication and accountability within a fast paced environment are important.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in driving gaming standards.
- Contribute to initiatives and opportunities to drive sales.
- Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, licensing, WH&S requirements.
- Knowledge of systems, processes, cash handling.
- Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and maintain strong relationships with the whole team.
- able to work autonomously, be adaptable, well disciplined and communicate effectively.
- Placing a strong focus on great service, ambience, presentation.
- Contribute to a productive and effective team environment/ training & development.
Requirements:
- Be a self starter
- Current RSA, RCG certificate
- Ability to work day/ night, weekends
- Current Australian working rights
