Purpose: To manage the profitable and efficient operation of all the Clubs activities in the delivery of a high standard of customer service to members, guests and visitors.
Primary role:
To provide a high level of service.
Establish and implement procedures and policies guided by the Committee of management to ensure patron satisfaction, whilst delivering the required level of profit to the Club.
Knowledge/Skills & Experience:
Ability to manage a broad range of operations and staff and maintain a high level of service, efficiency and professionalism; by analysing situations and making decisions.
Recruit select and induct new staff.
Monitor, purchase and control stock.
Good communication skills.
Good Conflict resolution skill.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Manage the Club to the guidelines provided by the Committee of Management.
- Be responsible for ensuring sufficient stocks at all times and for overseeing ordering, recording and adequate control of such stock.
- To ensure all functions held at the Club are conducted efficiently and that a high level of service and professionalism is maintained.
- The Manager will be required to provide “hands on” support in all areas of the Club as necessary.
- Be responsible for the security of the Club premises and monies.
- Be responsible for ensuring all work health and safety regulations are met.
- Be responsible for overseeing the catering activities.
- Be responsible for overseeing the gaming operations maximising revenue gained and ensuring the Clubs gaming room remains competitive.
- Uphold and administer the By-Laws of the Club.
- Organise and attend all Management Committee meetings and General meetings held for members and take minutes at such meetings.
- Ensure administrative and financial records are accurate and in good order.
- Initiate and/or organise all promotions for the Club, advertising and publications, such and Club flyers, newsletters, reports, etc.
- Must be appropriately approved under the Liquor Licensing Act and the Gaming Machines Act by the Office of & Consumer & Business Services.
