About the role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the newest addition to our expanding bricks and mortar fleet at The Emporium, together with overseeing our Melbourne Central and South Wharf stores, working with the Store Manager's in this multi site role. The Emporium is our premium concept store that embraces effortless sophistication with a deep respect for beauty, form, materiality and design. The person fit for the role will be passionate, a reliable team player who has a proven record of leading multiple stores to achieve great sales results, provide exceptional customer experiences and importantly create a great atmosphere where your team will thrive and enjoy coming to work.

As the leader of our CBD stores, you will be an ambassador for our company values and embody our great company culture together with leading our stores through a very exciting phase of Jo Mercer's evolution.

What we'd like you to have:

• Drive success in your team through ongoing training, mentoring together with providing ongoing feedback whilst working closely with your Regional Manager to build a highly effective team

• Create an empowering team environment to deliver outstanding results

• Provide an exceptional customer experience and build a loyal customer network

• Initiate and implement strategies to achieve KPI's and maintain a profitable business

• Provide a supportive and engaging environment for the team

What we ask you to bring to the role:.

• Strong leadership and multi-site experience of up to 3 stores

• Proven ability to engage and motivate your team to achieve KPIs

• A passion for retail and providing superior customer experiences

• Exceptional communication and organisational skills

• An abundance of energy, positivity, and an ability to build great team dynamics

• Experience in recruitment and developing your team

• Ability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster (with some flexibility throughout the year)
