Your responsibilities:
- Set up and operate our Brake Press machines to produce accurate and high quality components
- Handle and prepare materials for cutting with precision and care to ensure consistently high quality
- Assess and change tooling to suit production orders
- Develop bend patterns working with the Team Leader and colleagues
- Read and understand workshop drawings
- Fabricate profile lengths using bending and cutting machinery
- Conduct quality control checks on own work and make adjustments as required to ensure quality
- Act safely to keep yourself and our team safe
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping to ensure our equipment and workspace operates efficiently
We are looking for someone with these attributes to join our team:
- Experience in CNC Brake Press operation, ideally with knowledge of Delem controllers
- Attention to detail and able to perform repetitive work to a high standard
- Reliable with a ‘can do’ attitude and an interest in working in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Willing to follow standard procedures and follow safety guidelines including wearing personal protective equipment
- Self motivated - can work unsupervised and within a team
- Willing to obtain a forklift license if required
- Good communication
