Position Description:
We require Qualified Fitter & Turner for a full-time position in our Dandenong South workshop to train in-house to operate our CNC 4 Axis Machining Centre on a large range of components manufactured in all types of material.
Qualifications / Attributes Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent,
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints,
- Experience in the use of a Manual Lathe,
- Experience in the use of a Manual Mill,
- Experience in the use of a Drill,
- Experience in the use of a Band Saw,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Ability to learn quickly,
- Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline,
- Ability to work after-hours when required.
What we offer:
- Monday to Friday 38hr roster (Mon - Thurs - 8hrs & Friday - 6hrs)
- If required, half day Saturday paid on overtime rates,
- Competitive base rate + Super + Overtime
- 7:30am start and a 4pm finish - Free parking onsite
