About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a trade-qualified CNC Machinist to join our high performing team in Perth WA 6105.
In this role, your responsibilities will include;
- Operating Okuma VTL LathesCreate and edit programs
- Achieve tight tolerances
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Milling, drilling, tapping, and turning tools and their geometries.
About You
- Relevant Trade Qualifications (Fitter and Machinist)
- Experience operating Okuma VTL Lathes (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in the machining of hydraulics or pumps (desirable)
- Experience on horizontal machining centre and/or vertical turning lathe.
- Willing to work in afternoon shift (3.00PM-11.30PM)
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take direction
- Ability to work well within a team, autonomously and unsupervised
