Cnc Machinist - Afternoon Shift

Full time hours and overtime available

Afternoon shift position available

Stramech Engineering supply quality driven fabricated and precision machined components to the Mining, Defence and associated Heavy Engineering Industry sector throughout Australia.

We are looking to expand our team with a proven performer to fill the role of:

CNC MACHINIST - ALL ROUNDER -  EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL 

We are looking for the best candidate out there - to be successful in this position you should possess the following skills:

• Skilled at setting up and machining variety of jobs 
• Experienced primarily with OKUMA and FANUC controls - training can be provided if required
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM packages beneficial - training can be provided
• Demonstrated ability to complete scheduled tasks in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Relevant trade qualifications
• High attention to detail and quality
• A good work ethic and commitment to work well within a small and loyal team.

Stramech Engineering are committed to developing and training young people in becoming experienced tradespeople of the future. Experience and interest in mentoring and training skills in apprentices well regarded. 

We offer a well-equipped workshop with a variety of equipment, excellent hourly rates for the best applicants and assistance with training will be provided.
