About the role:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at our Bayswater facility. In your new role, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating 4 and 5 axis CNC machines to produce machine high end components to the highest standard, consistently meeting our clients’ detailed specifications.
As a CNC Machinist, you will perform daily tasks such as, but not limited to:
- Applying a “safety before production” mindset, always operating machines safely, competently and in accordance with Rosebank and industry standards
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Taking care to always follow the standards established by the internal work instructions.
- Ensuring your workspace remains clean and clear, enabling you to operate safely and take pride in your area.
- Applying your technical knowledge to correctly select and use appropriate measuring equipment to ensure your work is compliant with specifications.
- Working alongside your team mates to make a positive contribution to the group’s output and results.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have solid experience in programming and operating CNC milling machines within an engineering/ manufacturing environment.
- Have previous CAM programming experience preferred - MasterCam, Delcam (PowerMill) or similar
- Have previous grinding experience within precision manufacturing
- Possess strong computer skills and experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
- Possess a strong commitment to quality and a keen attention to detail which fits perfectly with precision work.
- Have experience in medium to large 4 and 5 axis machines preferably.
- Have completed a Qualification in Fitting and Turning preferably.
- Have demonstrated experience in operating machines with Okuma, DMG and Makino control or similar (Highly desirable)
