Role Description:
Be part of a growing Australian Engineering/Manufacturing family with over 50 years experience in the industry.
- Set up and operate 3,4 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines.
- Creating, implementing and optimising CNC programs.
- Fabricate, assemble, maintain, and repair precision instruments, parts, equipment, tools and machines.
- Ensure parts are machined accurately to required specifications.
- Support leading hand in delivering parts to schedule, quality and with minimal scrapping.
- Set up and/or operate hand tools and machines, including CNC machines where required.
- Fit and assemble parts, tools, or subassemblies.
- Ensure correct preventative maintenance of tools and machines according to maintenance checklists and report any issues to leading hand.
- Keep machines and surrounding work area tidy and clean.
