AusRAMD Engineering operates within sustainable industry sectors predominantly being Rail and Mining ensuring a variety of work opportunities from basic machining of components to machining of major fabricated components for capital projects.
We are looking for three CNC Milling Machining operators/ machine setters with a view of afternoon shift once trained in our product and machinery
These roles are permanent full-time positions

WE ARE SEEKING:
- Skill sets to carry out all aspects of machining, utilising CNC machines mills (both large and small).
- Ability to set own machines.
- Ability to interpret and understand engineered drawings.
- Ability to measure and record actual machined sizes against drawings, in accordance with required tolerances.
- Ability to meet targeted deliverables.
- Ability to monitoring and report the maintenance requirements of equipment and machinery that you are operating in accordance with company QC standards.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, in a complete and safe condition.
- Ability to CAM is an advantage but not critical.
To be successful for the role of Machinist you require:
- Trade certificate and qualification.
- 5 years Mechanical workshop experience; (including Apprenticeship)
- Demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools & power tools including CNC milling machines.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Proven strong work ethic and reliability with willingness to work overtime as required.
- Forklift, Overhead Crane (desirable but not essential).
