What’s it all about?
Based at our workshop in Northmead NSW, you will be joining our team of Workshop fitters in the testing, repair and maintenance of a range of machine tools .
This role would be suited to an experienced fitter and machinist with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems. This is a full-time position with one of Australia’s most trusted machine tool suppliers.
What will you need to do the role?
- Experience with the repair and maintenance of Machine Tools is highly desirable
- Fitter machinist/engineering trade certificate
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Current motor vehicle licence
Other skills that would be useful but not essential.
- Restricted electrical licence
- Experience in hydraulics, ability to read hydraulic drawings, fault finding and maintenance
