About The Roll:
We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented individual with great communication skills that has experience in CNC Cutting of Textiles & CAD experience.
With some prior experience of CNC fabric cutting, the successful candidate will be further trained in all aspects of using the Pathfinder L Series automated machine, cutting a wide range of industrial textiles such as PVC/Vinyl, Poly-Fabric, Mesh & Shadecloth used in our range of Tarpaulins, Covers & Liners.
Roll Summary:
- CAD design (Rhino) of various types of Tarps, Covers & Liners
- Operate a CNC fabric Cutting Machine (Pathfinder)
- Understand and follow both CAD & hand drawn diagrams & instructions.
- Load rolls of fabric onto the machine
- Learn about different types of Industrial textiles.
- Be able to work alongside our production team by explaining & clarifying jobs as well as some production planning.
- General machine maintenance & troubleshooting
Key Requirements
- Must have experience in CAD design (preferably in textiles or similar)
- Previous textile/fabric cutting experience is highly regarded.
- Experience in operating an automated CNC Cutting Machine, (Pathfinder, Aeronaut, Gerber, Zund or similar) will be a definite advantage.
- Be able to work safely & adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Physically fit and able to lift to 20KG.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be able to work full time, 7:30am to 4pm Mon to Fri.
