Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Machine Operator (ideally Die Cutting) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to produce custom packaging solutions while upholding our high-quality standards and meeting production goals. This is a full time permanent opportunity, hours are Monday - Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee various packaging machinery to ensure accurate and efficient packaging processes.
- Make ready, run and maintain machinery per job
- Conduct gluing (straight line, crash lock bottom, peel and seal), box folding and Die Cutting.
- Feed raw materials, and take off and pack finished goods.
- Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards throughout the production process.
Experience:
- Machine operator experience with die cutters is a must
- Industry experience in cardboard packaging
- Excellent attention to detail
- Aptitude and interest in operating machinery
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
