Fun Over 50 Holidays operate tours throughout all Australian States and Territories. Our Corporate Vision is 'To be recognised as the best quality and most sustainable tour operator in Australia'. Fun Over 50 Holidays is seeking the services of an energetic, entertaining, knowledgeable tour Coach Captain.
Due to an expansion of the fleet, we seek a quality Coach Captain.
About the Role – Coach Captain
You will be responsible for the safe operation of our fleet of 5-star luxury coaches.
The focus of the role is offering our guests the ultimate tour experience along with well-rounded commentary, service, and relaxation. At Fun Over 50 Holidays, we pride ourselves on our customer service, reflected in our annual results at the Queensland and Australian Tourism Awards.
All confirmations and administration duties are completed pre-tour by our operations staff, leaving the coach and commentary work only. You will be joined by an experienced Tour Host, which will be a joy for those who have been in a Driver/Guide only capacity.
Attractive daily rate on offer.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role with a demonstrated history of highly experienced tour driving and running commentary
- Coach Captain - minimum HR, HC or MC license
- Current Bus Driver Authority
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of bus mechanics
- A professional and caring attitude
- Well-groomed
