The Role
You will be an experienced client services manager / operations manager /Practice Manager from the accounting industry with an eye for detail, a proactive attitude and a organisational whiz. Working with the team you will have great communication skills and be a team player. Noted as part time but happy to look at full time for right person.
So what does the role look like?
- Assist the Client Managers and CEO with various general administrative tasks and direct workflow management for a remote team.
- Manage office email correspondence, phone communication, and schedule meetings
- Facilitate new client setup across various platforms including XPM, Karbon, Now Infinity ATO, ASIC, SMSF, and company trusts
- Be the Karbon whisperer, maintain the system and ensure the team are on track with their targets and the workflow is running like a dream. Assist in setting up workflows and templates.
- Oversee the application process for stamp duty, ABN, TFN, GST, and PAYG
- Collaborate with ASIC for registrations, transfers, changes, and company statements
- Engage with the ATO to manage deferrals, payment plans, and GIC remissions
- Creation of new and oversee existing procedures
- Run point on staff onboarding
- Assist CEO with client communication materials, updates, guides etc
Is this role for you? It could be if the below sounds like you:
-Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role. Must have experience in an accounting firm.
-Awesome organisational skills (you have to love a process)
-Ability to work in a remote/Work From Home capacity
-Proven experience with ASIC a must and preferably Now Infinity
-Good/Excellent with systems and technology - we are remote, and technology is foundational at HT, so you need to be able to pick up systems quickly and work comfortably with technology
-Can work autonomously and run point on roll out and execution work for the business
-Experience with Karbon preferred.
-You are a great communicator and understand the importance of effectively communicating with the team and clients.
