The Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Coldstore operator to join our operation here in Salisbury North.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking & cross checking of orders in a cold storage facility (-20 to -24C)
- Picking Distributor orders for regional areas
- Handling returns and damaged stock
- Replenishing pick face as required - utilising correct stock rotation principles
- Unloading/loading of inbound/outbound freight
- Basic housekeeping of both the coldstore and dry goods area
Qualifications & Experience (Knowledge):
- Cold storage experience preferable but not essential for right person
- Safe manual handling practices
- Candidate must have a valid MR (minimum) and forklift licence
- Have the ability to work in coldstore for extended period of time
- Understand and adhere to OH&S and HACCP practices
