Collections and Hardship Officer

Growing Finance company is looking for a Debt Agreement Account Manager to handle soft collection calls and convert queries regarding formal and informal debt management options.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

• Handling enquiries for hardship / debt management customers
• Soft Collection calls
• Assessing the eligibility and suitability of a debt agreement for our clients.
• Completing thorough consults with clients regarding financial information 
• Dealing with the creditors of clients in relation to their debts
• Preparation of Debt Agreement proposals 
• General administration.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in completing financial applications or assessments
• Experience in sales of a financial product or service desired
• Ideally experience within the insolvency industry
• A working knowledge of key regulatory and compliance standards in relation to credit provision and debt collection (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent work ethic
• Be a team player as well as an ability to work autonomously
• Be target driven and strive towards reaching and exceeding KPI’s
• Be empathetic while negotiating a positive outcome for the customer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
