About the role
The College Counsellor is a key student support role at St Brendan’s College. It requires diversity and flexibility to undertake the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
The Counsellor will provide social, emotional and spiritual support to students, parents and staff. This position is responsible for supporting and developing social and emotional wellbeing of the students. In consultation with the Heads of School and the Principal, the Counsellor will be responsible for referring students to the appropriate services where required and provide counselling support where needed.
This position is a full-time, permanent (38hrs per week) position. Flexible working arrangements, salary packaging options, 12.75% superannuation and many more perks!
Essential Criteria
- Formal qualifications at diploma or degree level of Counselling along with relevant experience required by the employer to reflect higher levels of professional outcomes.
