About the Position
The Commercial Activities and Land Advisor is responsible for management of the City’s land assets through the disposal and acquisition of land in accordance with the City’s strategy and policy and legislative requirements. This role will also be responsible for managing commercial projects and negotiating beneficial outcomes for the City, particularly in relation to commercial leases and identifying and promoting other sources of revenue. The role will also provide advice and expertise in relation to the above matters.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Property, or an equivalent appropriate qualification along with a sound knowledge of land acquisition and disposal legislation, and high level written and analytical skills to produce research, reports, submissions and property related material.
You will need to have an understanding of local, and small to medium size business challenges, economic conditions and the role of local government in Commercial Activities.
