Day to day you’ll be…
- Commercial Acumen: Support and facilitate commercial decision-making processes to drive enhanced profit performance and achieve optimal returns on capital investments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by proactively streamlining existing reporting practices and implementing new reporting structures that align with business needs, work methodologies, and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate in the development of comprehensive commercial models to assess the profitability of different business strategies. · Deliver value-added analyses that empower business stakeholders with actionable insights for well-informed decision-making.
- Proactively communicate the commercial implications of past activities and future plans to relevant stakeholders. · Skillfully create and present financial models and business case scenarios.
- Provide value-added analysis that empowers business stakeholders to make informed decisions confidently. · Partner with Digital and Data teams to understand, manage and build insightful performance dashboards that will drive new opportunities for growth.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: · Conduct comprehensive reviews and reporting on both financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Deliver monthly performance reports and value-added analyses that equip business stakeholders with the necessary information to make well-informed decisions.
- Provide on-demand commercial support and conduct analyses to: a. Identify, implement, and monitor risks and action items necessary to realize the commercial benefits from various projects. b. Utilise analytics and modelling to configure, extract, and convert data into actionable insights. c. Continuously identify and execute value-add projects that contribute to business growth and efficiency.
- Own and maintain robust and reliable tools that support the forecast and budget processes.
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, commerce ect)
- CA/ CPA qualification or another relevant post graduate qualification, or studying towards.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Accounting/Analytical / Reporting role)
- Experience in PowerBI or other similar data visualisation technologies ideal
- Comfortable using Excel to manipulate, transform and present data
- High level of ownership & Attention to detail
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate complex financial information simplistically
