Reporting to the Finance Director, this leadership role partners with the Divisional General Manager and key business / operational executives and management to improve decision support and commercial focus and to drive superior commercial and financial outcomes.
This includes developing the financial literacy within the business, driving business performance including supporting continuous improvement programs, providing independent financial perspectives to senior leaders, and supporting customer and general commercial arrangements (pricing, credit, risk, dispute resolution, contracts). You will also ensure that capital expenditure business cases are appropriately developed and that investment decisions, including strategy due diligence, meet company hurdles.
We require CPA/ CA qualified finance professionals that can demonstrate wide and deep experience providing expert commercial and financial advice on sales, logistics and operational outcomes. Previous experience in a complex construction services, contracting or infrastructure development space would be advantageous as would prior extensive knowledge of managing construction contracts, claims and disputes. You will have 10+ years experience of planning, forecasting, capital and investment appraisal as well as managing and organising resources within short/ medium timelines. This role would appeal to those with high commercial acumen that are keen to make a real business impact.
