Job description:
- Collaborate with research and development teams to enhance the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process through the implementation of advanced engineering methodologies.
- Utilising engineering expertise to optimise the design and operation of reactors and other technology, ensuring consistent and high-quality products.
- Analysing production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation in the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to minimise the environmental impact of production, integrating sustainable engineering practises.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create technical documentation and presentations highlighting the unique engineering advantages of lab-grown diamonds.
- Provide technical support to customers and addressing inquiries related to the engineering aspects of diamond products.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for the manufacturing and sale of products, applying engineering principles to guarantee product quality and safety.
- Establish and maintain performance and safety standards for equipment used in the manufacturing process, implementing engineering controls to mitigate risks and ensure workplace safety.
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or in a relevant field.
- Must possess at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have proven experience in process optimisation, preferably in the field of manufacturing, production and retail.
- Desired: Strong understanding of the unique properties and characteristics of lab-grown diamonds, with knowledge of the manufacturing process and industry standards.
- Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
