The Facilities Manager - Commercial role is responsible for managing the building and equipment maintenance schedules, physical space and experience of the people within a portfolio of non-technical assets. This role will be responsible for meeting the contractual requirements and statutory and regulatory obligations of a portfolio on a day to day basis
This role requires high level time management and contractor coordination skills to deliver exceptional customer service and outstanding operational performance.
This role is a Fixed Term contract role until 31/03/2025 with the possibility of extension/permanent role
What You Will be Doing
Provide Facilities Management support to a number of tenanted commercial assets. Have the technical or practical skills and training relevant to those assets.
Responsible for all service provision at the facility(ies) in accordance with the scope and service levels as well as statutory and regulatory obligations to meet the compliance requirements the site(s)
Participate as required in Building Committees (e.g. WHS, Emergency Planning Committee and Emergency Control Organisation etc)
Ensure the implementation of scheduled routine tasks and preventative maintenance activities
Day to day operational management and coordination of vendor partner base to deliver maintenance works within site / client guidelines
Provide content for site specific induction and essential site information
Seek support from Health and Safety team when issuing impairment notices to insurers and subsequent management of process
What You Will Bring
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong experience in stakeholder/contractor management
Diploma in Facilities Management preferred or;
Experience in meeting client needs within agreed timelines (SLAs)
