AddressWe are seeking an energetic Commercial Facilities Manager with a great attitude to join our Newcastle team. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the overall operational efficiency and smooth running of larger assets. The role involves ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment for occupants while managing budgets and available resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans for the preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Oversee cleaning services, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout the properties.
- Coordinate repairs and renovations with contractors and internal staff.
- Manage facility budget and develop cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee waste removal and recycling programs.
- Manage BMS, security systems, and access control.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and report on key facility metrics (e.g., energy consumption, maintenance costs).
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Role Requirements:
- Relevant experience and qualifications.
- Driver's License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Ability to work as part of the team.
