FACILITIES MANAGER

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team who ideally is:

• A recently qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with 2 years field experience or an experienced projects scheduler / builder/tradesperson;
• Able to progress and finalize maintenance assignments, maintaining all appropriate documentation;
• Experienced in collaborating with a range of stakeholders;
• Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Fast paced and can make decisions unsupervised when needed

The role entails:

• Effective management of a range of contractors across multiple disciplines 
• Effective execution of strategies, policies and procedures for all areas of operations management, and contract and contractor management;
• Maintaining a preventive maintenance program for the building and technical equipment including but not limited to HVAC, AFSS, FIRE SERVICES, CRANES;
•  Undertaking financial analysis of operating costs and expenses including utility bills to identify cost savings and efficiencies;
• Strong, regular, proactive communication with tenants, ability to handle tenant complaints and fire and life safety system issues;
• Ensuring the organizations' Health and Safety policy is followed and enforced on site;
• When required, inspect the interior and exterior of buildings on a regular basis and following up deficiencies where and when required;
• Prepare and implement energy efficiency measures;
• Follow up building works that the company has organized;
• Prepare scopes for tendering;
• Liaise with Property Managers/seek approval for quoted works and check completed scope of works.
