Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will assist with completion of month end close and reporting activities, forecast and budget submissions, assessing profitability of investment deals and supporting sales and finance in trading agreement negotiations across multiple sales channels. The role will also business partner and support Brand teams with ROI assessment and performance activity activities in the ANZ region.
- Oversee investment models, conduct financial reviews of investments, and lead financial analysis for trading agreements and brand campaigns.
- Perform month-end closing activities, monitor D&R rates, and provide insightful month-end reports by collaborating with sales teams.
- Assist in creating financial models for budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans, leveraging insights from sales and demand planning for better performance understanding.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, collaborating effectively within a high-performing team for idea and feedback exchange.
- Drive process improvement and standardisation within Commercial Finance, supporting new system implementations and business initiatives.
About you
We are searching for a Commercial Finance professional with a passion for driving business growth through insightful analysis and strategic financial planning. You thrive in fast-paced environments, leveraging your analytical ability to influence outcomes and enhance decision-making across the board.
- Tertiary qualified in Finance, Business, or Accounting; CA/CPA preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
- Exceptional analytical, planning, and project management abilities.
- Commercial finance experience within FMCG/wine/liquor/beverages or retail would be advantageous.
