Description
Based in the heart of Melbourne CBD (with the best office views of Melbourne) this role is offered as permanent full time, with a hybrid model of a minimum of two days in the office required. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and working within a small, friendly and dedicated team, as Commercial Analyst duties will include but are not limited too:
Commercial Analysis
- Supporting management of P&L and supporting internal leaders working with the broader SLT with direct sales, cost management and profitability including FTEs.
- Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Support the Annual Price Increase Program
- Support Business Intelligence team with meaningful insights
- Support pricing approval and go-to-market strategy; and Leverage data insights to support commercial decision making.
Sales Operations Analysis
- Supporting Head of Sales and Sales Directors with sales pipeline review and analysis
- Support the development of sales operations best practices and metrics
- Identify key sales insights to support commercial and business decision making.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, including influencing prudent financial decisions;
- Ensure that policies and guidelines are shared and understood by stakeholders.
Profile
To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
Must have - Advanced excel skills - excel modeling
Highly regarded - Power BI, Salesforce
- Experience supporting and leveraging data insights to support commercial decisions
- Strong Business partnering skills
- Price modeling, financial analysis and modeling
Commercial Finance -
- On time budget planning and finalisation supported by MarketInsight and Competitor analysis
- Accurate and timely forecasts
- Margin improvement from Price Improvement Program and initiatives
- Cost to serve improvement from business optimisation plans
- Development of business cases to support commercial and business strategies
Sales Operations Management
- Strong sales pipeline discipline and cadence
- Sales pipeline review and commentary to support revenue growth and align with strategy
Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong pricing discipline and commercial pricing models
- Support the delivery of ,commercial pricing models
- Strong relationship building and Business partnering
