As a member of the Business Intelligence team within the finance division, and in collaboration with the Commercial team (including Supply Chain & Procurement functions), you will focus on enhancing and optimizing gross margins, working closely with stakeholders across various functions and their senior leadership (CFO, CCO, CMO, COO) to ensure sustained margin growth. This position will also collaborate across Commercial, Operations, and Marketing functions to identify and pursue crucial business enhancement and expansion opportunities in alignment with the overarching business strategy. Key Responsibilities:Offer critical insights to facilitate gross margin expansion by examining various aspects of the procurement and supply chain to operational efficiency and pricing strategies.Develop robust financial models to support procurement and supply chain functions in delivering commercial value.Foster commercial awareness and understanding across Commercial, Operations, and Marketing teams, providing thought leadership on matters affecting financial performance.Collaborate with executive leadership (COO, CCO & CFO) to enhance understanding of key financial drivers and optimize business opportunities through insightful analysis translated into actionable strategies.Utilize advanced data analysis techniques (data mining, modeling, visualization) to simplify complex business challenges into comprehensible solutions.Prepare and deliver business insights, analyses, and solutions to stakeholders at various organizational levels.Present information on capital positions, exposure, and opportunities, ensuring awareness and comprehension of capital levels and performance.Develop comprehensive return on capital models to influence capital investment strategy, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.Ad hoc duties as required. Your ProfileYou will be an established Finance Business Partner with a strong commercial mindset, with proven ability to challenge and influence commercial outcomes. You will have strong communication skills and be self-driven to succeed with high attention to detail. Previous experience within a retail environment and exposure to Tableau would be highly regarded.
