As an experienced Safety & Wellbeing specialist, will have the opportunity to influence leaders of customer facing teams to drive continuous improvement. This will be achieved primarily through specialist support and consultancy, training, coaching and the provision of technical advice.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include rolling out Environment, Safety & Wellbeing systems and programs across Commercial which include, field sales, technicians and office settings. This will be achieved primarily through specialist support and consultancy, training, coaching and the provision of technical advice.
Specifically, you will;
- Support Commercial leadership teams and line management to implement the Oceania and Commercial Environment, Safety & Wellbeing (ESW) plan and associated programs and systems.
- Provide ongoing business coaching to drive timely reporting, quality investigations and improve actions management.
- Support with regulatory matters including external reportable incidents.
- Coach stakeholders to embed safety conversations and support ongoing rollout of the Asahi Beverages Safety Leadership Program.
- Support line management to Implement compliance requirements and support assurance activities to reflect systems requirements.
- Lead, coach, and support line management with Critical Control Verification Programs and gap closure planning.
- Solid experience leading Environment, Safety & Wellbeing in multiple businesses
- Strong communication and influencing skills with management and front-line leaders without direct line authority.
- Working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and AS/NZ Standards
- Intimate knowledge of ISO Management systems and have extensive experience in their application.
- Experience in facilitating training programs & other continuous improvement programs.
- Experience with return to work and rehabilitation
- FMCG operations, other manufacturing, logistics, mining, hospitality or commercial sales experience highly regarded
- This is a hybrid role where you are able to work onsite and at home
- Potential international/interstate travel may be required.
