This is an exciting time to consider joining the organisation - The business has recently invested significant funds to redevelop their production and warehousing facilities, which will automate a lot of their existing production processes, ensuring the highest quality and best practice standards are adhered to.
The role:
Reporting to the CFO, and based at their National Head Office located in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, the Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Management of Cost Reporting & 3-way cash forecasting
- Asset Management – acquisitions, disposals, depreciation & aligning the Asset Register, to the Insurance register and physical assets
- P&L & Balance Sheet review and reporting
- Innate understanding of the reports you produce, and the impact that business changes have to the data (and how to react, draw attention to and reforecast accordingly)
- Analyse and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes
- Reviewing and tracking the costs associated with the business’s operations
- Board pack preparation
- Seasonal sales, tracking and reporting
- Insurance Policies, returns, audits and management.
- Back up Payroll
- Superior skills in understanding Payroll – particularly award interpretation and Rolling Forecast/Budgeting
- Manage a small team and provide leadership and guidance
Your key to success:
You’ll have a demonstrated track record of success working within a fast-paced, commercial business within the FMCG, Manufacturing, Horticulture/Agriculture sectors. This is imperative to be considered for this position.
Your technical accounting and finance knowledge will complement your commercial decision-making capabilities and strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate and network across all levels within the business.
You are dependable and results driven, with a strong sense of urgency which allows you to consistently meet and exceed business objectives and deadlines. It is critical that you’re comfortable working autonomously within a fast-paced FMCG environment. This opportunity is well suited to a Commercial Finance Manager who has exceptional technical and reporting capabilities, who adopts a continuous improvement mindset to their role.
