Job DescriptionWe are looking for someone who loves business improvement and development to join our Fuel Supply and Trading team in our Docklands head office.Replacing an existing role due to internal promotion, you will work closely with partners across the Viva Energy Supply, Trading and Sales teams to grow and commercialise Viva Energy’s fuel infrastructure. Responsible for the development and delivery of high value capital proposals across the business and ensuring the benefits associated with the proposals are delivered.There is a strong business development element to these projects requiring management of cross-functional teams. This is a great opportunity for those interested in gaining exposure to a commercial role within Supply Chain that plays a key part in supporting our Commercial Sales Business.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic fuel asset infrastructure planning across Viva Energy’s key fuel terminal locations.
- Work with Sales, Sustainability, Refinery, Operations and Engineering teams to identify and prioritise development sites as part of the transition to a low carbon future.
- Contribute to ad-hoc fuels infrastructure projects as required to drive sales growth and margin.
- Promote internal alignment to ensure delivery of maximum value to the integrated Viva Energy business.
- Provide analysis and insights for the strategic development of Viva Energy’s fuel asset infrastructure, which includes future fuels.
- Deliver business cases for new capital and growth infrastructure projects.
- Negotiate infrastructure contract renewals as needed.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategies that maximise revenue and reduce risk of our asset operations.
- The role will support Viva Energy’s Operational and Sales teams, and will require the ability to work with and influence other stakeholders to deliver the required outcomes without having direct authority
Qualifications- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline either Engineering, Management, Finance or Commercial.
- Minimum 5 years relevant business experience.
- Analytical, contract/legal and negotiation experience preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial mindset and an entrepreneurial attitude will excel in this role
