Commercial Landscaper Leading Hand

Are you a dedicated and skilled landscaper looking for an opportunity to work with an industry-leading company? We are a prestigious commercial landscape company based in Sydney, and we are in search of a talented Leading Hand to become an integral part of our esteemed team.
About Us:
We are an award-winning commercial landscape company renowned for our exceptional outdoor transformations across the greater Sydney region. With a strong emphasis on quality, creativity, and innovation, we take pride in our projects and the contributions of our skilled team.
You will be assisting running projects ranging from $200 - $800k. These projects are mainly in the areas of:

• housing developments

• schools

• commercial properties

• shopping centres

• public spaces

• other commercial contracts across Sydney

As a Leading Hand, you will work closely with our experienced Foreman, playing a vital role in various projects. Your responsibilities will include hands-on work, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship, and providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements
Key Requirements:

• Ability to run a project when foreman is not onsite

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction (or equivalent experience)

• Able to lead a team of skilled trades, apprentices and sub-contractors

• Demonstrated ability in hardscaping in the commercial sector

• Strong ability to read plans

• Must be well presented and well mannered with excellent communication skills.

• Must be punctual, reliable and able to lead well in a team environment.

• National police check and working with children check must be provided (or willing to obtain)

• Current White card

• Manual Driver's License

In addition the following would be highly regarded:

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction or above

• Bobcat and Excavator Tickets

• First Aid Certificate
