- Work with the Australia Commercial and UK Management Team to lead and manage the ‘Win’ phase of projects (ITT, RFP, tender process, contracts).
- Promote effective internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate and lead various tenders from standard responses to complex and high value packages.
- Represent MMA Offshore including with Clients, authorities, relevant industry groups and the supply chain.
- Provide BD support where/when required.
- Pre-tender analysis and execution strategy
- Manage the full integration of the various Company service lines in the tender process, as required.
- Analyse scope of work and interpret drawings and project specifications to prepare estimates for pricing, project plans and schedules, budgets, procurement, materials plant and equipment, labour costs etc in line with Client requirements.
- Conduct pre-submission tender reviews, including a full review of costing, margins, qualifications, risks and opportunities.
- Upon award, transfer ownership of the contract from the tendering team to the project and operations team, through a formal handover process.
- Ensure that all Subsea Services tendering activities adhere to the ‘Invitation to Tender (ITT) Response Procedure – Subsea Services’ and that all relevant tendering material and approvals are logged and evidenced as required.
- Provide support to UK Management Team to identify and select tender opportunities to pursue based on a match or our solution to customer benefits.
- Respond to Client Invitation to Tender (ITT), RFT’s and RFQ’s and liaise with appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepare and assist with internal pre-bid reviews (bid/no bid) and compile pre-qualification/tender documentation.
- Liaise with clients to seek feedback and follow up opportunities for the Company upon project completion.
- Representation of the Company at client meetings and industry functions and events.
- Reporting on updates, comparison of tender performance and historical trends.
- Always follow and comply with the Company Delegation of Authority and Approvals Matrix.
- Proven work experience in a relevant industry role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities
- Solid experience in tender proposal submission leading complex subsea and offshore tenders through to award
- Exposure/understanding to subsea survey (Geophysical / Geotechnical), inspection, maintenance operations, environmental stabilisation and engineered solutions (Desired).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Evidence of prior formal training relevant to this role
- Commercial Management (preferred)
